We packed a lot in our Christmas Season....we even did things we had never done before.

Tyson opted out this year....there was too much other stuff going on...he couldn't be bothered. Apparently he does not understand how important it is to inform Santa of what you want.

Grandpa Sleight, Aunt Nicole & Aunt Cindy (and their families) came for the weekend before Christmas..we had so much fun together.
For Christmas Eve Eve we had a family talent show...
Savanna, Sam, Syd & Cass did a dance to One Direction-
On Christmas Eve day we made GingerBread houses. So much fun and so much easier with more adults to help.
Syd was really wanting some help....but the helping person was taking pics...So I got the "look".

And Christmas day we spent with our little family. We were up at 7:00am- not too bad. and blew through it all in 20 mins. And spent the next 1/2 day putting together, getting things out of pkgs and adding batteries.
A few weeks into December for FHE monday night we took a ride on the Suburban express aka Polor Express...and went and looked at the lights with Hot Chocolate in the car. I pushed the clocks back an hour and made the kids think it was bedtime they all were in the PJ's and just as they were going to bed they found the golden ticket on their pillows. Thanks to the idea on Pinterest. It was super magical when I was reading about it.....I have got to stop doing that....making it be more than it is....because our ride had christmas lights w/hot chocolate...but it also had...lots of talking, fighting and maybe even a little boredom in between the houses that were actually decorated.
Grandpa Sleight was here and I was a little embarrassed by the lack of cool things to look at.
